I write Windows "operating system level software" for a living, including device drivers and file systems.  While I'm not much of an applications programmer, I try to contribute to the world-wide ham and scanner communities by writing a few small things that might help some folks.

K1PGV's ScannerCast
My latest offering, and my first for the scanner community.  ScannerCast lets you listen to your 396t or PSR-500 over the Internet, using your web browser and any media player. In many media players (such as Winamp) it even displays the current channel that you're listening to!

Online Callbook DLL for MixW
This add-in for the digital-mode program MixW will automatically do a callsign lookup from qrz.com's public web pages and fill select information into your MixW log entry.  It also optionally checks to see if the station is a known LoTW user, and notes this by placing [L] in the Mgr field in the MixW log.

MixWButtons
Suggested by the MixW users group, this utility adds an additional palette of macro buttons, of the size and shape you define.  You can have up to 100 macro buttons displayed simultaneously!

MixWBuddy
This is an older, legacy, utility which has been replaced by MixWButtons, above.  MixWBuddy is a little utility that provides buttons for direct access to the most common MixW modes, and (optionally) gives you 5 extra macro buttons too.
